CHIHUAHUA Information and Standard
Chihuahua (in Spanish: Chihuahua) is the smallest breed of dog in the world. Originate from Mexico, particularly from the territory of the State of Chihuahua, of which the name originates in. Was recognized in 1850, but their ancestors and (techichi breed) have been used by the Toltecs them buried with the dead and believed that helping the dead pass into the netherworld. When the conquistadors arrived in America, techichi were crossed with Asian breeds. Modern Chihuahuas are bred in 1850 in Casa Grande, Chihuahua state. The state borders the U.S., Texas, Arizona and New Mexico, where the breed began to spread worldwide. There are two types of Chihuahuas: dalgokosmesto and gladkokosmesto.
MORE INFORMATION ABOUT CHIHUAHUA
The head of the dog breed has a characteristic shape yabalkoobrazna. The muzzle is short. The eyes are large round and dark soils. Ears are made, large, wide at base and rounded at the end. The tail is long, sickle and stretched upward. Any color is permissible, but generally found gray, brindle and chocolate color.
The breed has a normal stable psyche for a small breed. Very rarely can meet hysterical individuals. It is believed that gladkokosmestite Chihuahuas are more active than long-haired and temperamental. The representative of the breed loves his master, sometimes jealous, but never malicious.
COLOUR : All colours in all possible shades and combinations are admitted.
WEIGHT : In this breed only the weight is taken into consideration, not the height.
Weight : Ideal weight : between 1.5 and 3 kg.
However, dogs between 500 gr and 1.5 kg are accepted. Subjects weighing more than 3 kg shall be disqualified.
