So Felicia and I attended the Wiener dog races in Los Alamitos… Here is the evidence.

More than 50 “wiener dogs” took part in this year’s Wienerschnitzel Nationals at Fresno State. Some dog owners took the extra step of training their dachshunds in preparation for the big race. Video shot and edited by Will Albritton. For more, go to FresnoBee.com.

Our little dachshund Emmet was a semi-finalist in the 2nd Annual Race City Weiner Race in Mooresville, NC. It was a huge turnout, over 185 dachshunds showed up.

Mr. Big in the 2011 Dog Eat Dog Dachshund Drag Race near Grosse Pointe, MI. SORRY FOR THE CRAP VIDEO GENERALLY. Just got iMovie and I’m slow at figuring it out but wanted to upload this. Consider it to be vintage ~home video~ quality, aight? Scooter, the dog with spots (who was half terrier…cough cough) ended up winning. But Mr. Big would’ve won the cutest pup contest!
