Shelter overpopulation offers chance at love
The Nash County Animal Shelter hosted its first Pet Adopt-a-Thon on Wednesday due to the local overpopulation of canines and felines. Twenty-three dogs and puppies, from Rottweiler mixes to pit bulls, as well as eight cats were up for adoption.
