In memory of Tank, my German shepherd; 12-9-98 – 11-5-09

November 26th, 2011

This is a memorial video i made to honor my best friend and companion Tank, who was diagnosed with cancer on 11/5/09, and was humanely euthanized. He was the best dog anyone could ask for; a gentle loving companion, fearless protector of the family, and the most loyal friend. I had him since he was 8 weeks old and gave him the best life i could; he was a full time inside dog, slept on a comfy bed, had treats every day, steak, chicken and porkchops were his favorite meal. He was by my side every moment i was home and loved to go for our daily walks and play tug of war. He was very gentle with children, like a big brother to my 2 cats, and was very protective of me. His loss is harder than i could have ever imagined, i miss him more than words can say, and his memories will always be with me. RIP Tank, I will always love you!

In Memory Of Our Golden Retriever Casey

April 24th, 2011

This is a tribute to our golden retriever, Casey. This is the last small thing we could do for her, she brought so much happiness into our lives. My Dad passed away in August 2009 and Casey left us in February 2010 so it has been a difficult year. Thanks for your kind thoughts.

In Memory of Zeus, our White German Shepherd

January 17th, 2011

After a 6 week battle with cancer, we lost our beloved 10 year old White German Shepherd – Zeus. We tried everything – Surgery, chemotherapy, natural herbs, lots and lots of prayers – endless tears…He never left my side. He watched over me with such devotion and unyielding protection. I loved him back equally. The entire week he was hospitalized for the removal of his spleen, I made the 5 hour round trip each day, to sit with him, and hold him, so he wouldn’t think I abandoned him. Dogs don’t understand why their family drops them off and then leaves them at the hospital. Especially my dog – who has never been without me. We had him only a few more short weeks after his surgery. But I devoted every single minute of every single day to him – I never left his side – because I knew each day I still had him was a blessing. 90% of the photos on this video were taken after his surgery, when we knew each day was a precious gift from God. He took his last breath, in my arms – where we wanted it to happen – in our home. After 10 years spent with my boy, I just didn’t know how to be happy without him. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss him…and wish I had just one more day….

In memory of Shebang

January 14th, 2011

In memory of Shebang, my heartdog and soulmate. Shebang died very suddenly and unexpectedly in October 2007, at only nine years and three weeks of age. She fell sick on October 15th, and at 3:30 am on October 17th, I had to make the devastating decision to let her go and be pain free. Her illness turned out to be pancreatic cancer. There will never be another Shebang, she was the dog of a lifetime.

German Shepherd with rock (In loving memory 9/19/03 – 9/23/08)

December 21st, 2010

Thisvideo has now become a classic. Our beloved Shelby had to be put to sleep on September 23rd 2008, due to an unknown illness. In May 2008 I let her outside to play, I meant to change her water bucket for the day, but before I had a chance to, she drank some water from her bucket and developed what I believe was a bacterial infection. A few days later, she started throwing up yellow bile and wouldn’t eat, so we took her to the veterinarian. He gave her some medication that appeared to have stopped whatever it was. Then four months later after we moved into our new home, the symptoms appeared again, only this time Shelby went from 80 lbs to 60lbs. She started showing sign of fatigue and wouldnt eat. All she would do is lay around, she had no energy to move. Two different veterinarians in Florida couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her. They did nothing for Shelby, and when her health deteriorated very badly on Monday September 22nd, their response was, we dont know whats wrong with her, but you can drive to Stuart Florida and pay $500 to have them take a look at her. We didnt have $500 upfront, and they wouldnt even look at Shelby without it. Based upon Shelby’s condition the morning of September 23rd, we made the decision to put her to sleep. She lost 20 lbs and wouldn’t eat, drink or go the bathroom. I wasn’t about to let her continue in the state she was in. The decision my husband and I made, killed a part of me inside, that wound will never heal. To have to look

In memory of Gina, my labrador-retriever

November 13th, 2010

This little slideshow I made for my dog who died 2 days ago because of heart-failure. She was 7 years old, and the most lovely dog ever. I know, everybody say this about his dog, but this one is true. She loved really everybody, never bitten anyone, never barked except to command, mailman’s best friend, every child in neighbourhood loved her. Sleep well my little girl.
