ASHEVILLE — Firefighters battled two house fires on Wednesday, one of which sent a woman to the hospital and killed three family pets. The other fire also claimed the life of a pet.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Colts safety Bob Sanders apparently will not play again this season. Team owner Jim Irsay has posted a comment on Twitter saying the team intends to place Sanders on injured reserve, which would end his season.
