XENIA — Smokey the dog will remain in the Greene County Animal Control building for the foreseeable future.In a tale that has attracted attention from animal groups around the world, Smokey is property and evidence, the accused and the victim, the subject of an online “candlelight and prayer vigil” and a candidate to be euthanized or taken to an animal sanctuary.
