Mini-Dachshund Goes Crazy

My dog doesn’t like taking baths. He rebels by running wet around the house. The sound is off from the video, but it’s still funny to watch.

I have a long hair dachshund, Frankie, that looks exactly like yours and does the same thing after a bath. BUT…before I let him down I wrap him tightly in a heavy towel and rock him to sleep like a baby, and he loves it. When he tries to move I shoosh him back to a relaxed state and he falls back to sleep. This helps absorb more of the water from his hair and CREATES A SPECIAL BONDING TIME that we both love!

My dog does this too, when shes done taking a bath, or coming inside wet from the rain. I think its funny, but my sister always tells her to stop ): hah

my weiner runs around the house at a million miles an hour after a bath also. but we encourage him by laughing hysterically and clapping and patting on the ground so he goes faster. haha. that’s adorable. :]

mine runs around like that too! EVERY time he just had a bath. its like hes reborn and has so much energy! its fricken hilarious to see my cats watch him haha. my one cat just sits in the middle of the living room and tries to smack him everytime he runs by hahaha

my dog elliot does the same thing, but thats only if your playing with him, he likes to roll around and feel the carpet i think, elliot usually just takes it when we give him baths, guess because we always let him inside after it, lol

Our dachshund hates baths too. He’s short haired, whenever he runs around we all go “Run Lucky run!”
