I just got a Havanese who could be her brother. Almost the same markings. Very easy to train. My cousin keeps him part – time for the time being because of an unbelievable $300 pet deposit.

Awh! I have a 1 year old Havanese, and I love her to death. Her name is Honey, since her coat is a blonde honey-like colour. She can do a few tricks, but now that I saw your video, I want to teach her a few more. Thanks for sharing!

it’s always wonderful to see people really caring for their furry friends by developing their natural talents — dogs love to play/learn/entertain us, and yours is a shining example. that is one happy havanese!

This is just incredible!!!! My havanese has like ADD or something (more like ADHD. LOL) God only knows how long it will take my 2 year old to do this!!!!

And I thought MY havanese could do a lot of tricks.

Kenny,
Our Havanese had a short attention span when younger. Puppies get older their attention span increases. I’d say around 8 months is young enough to start tricks like the puppy on this vid is doing. Come when called & other simple necessary commands can be done earlier. Ours is 10 months old now & is progressing nicely. But a lot of patience is still required.

Jasmine,
I agree !! Sweetest breed, all they want to do is please you !!

I really didn’t want a dog but my wife did…I stalled her for a couple of years. Did a lot of research, this is as close to the perfect house dog you can get. Our Havanese male (Yogi) is now 10 months and well trained & well mannered. Not a yappy dog, non-shedding, hypo-allergenic, very smart.
